Congratulations to North Hills High School Assistant Principal Kevin Sheridan who was named a Most Valuable Principal by the Pittsburgh Penguins!

The Most Valuable Principal (MVP) program, a collaborative effort of the Penguins Foundation, Allegheny Intermediate Unit and The Grable Foundation, recognizes principals for their outstanding leadership in advancing teaching and learning, commitment to excellence, and dedication to the success of all learners within their school communities.

"This honor reflects the profound impact of your leadership and passion in creating exceptional opportunities for students,” wrote Dr. Jill Jacoby, Assistant Executive Director of Teaching & Learning at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, in an email to the district announcing the honor. “Your leadership has made a meaningful difference, and I am confident that you will continue to inspire excellence across your school community."

Mr. Sheridan will be recognized during a Pittsburgh Penguins game this March and will receive a customized Penguins jersey, along with a $1,000 donation to North Hills.

Highcliff Elementary School Principal Kristy Bilderback was named a Most Valuable Principal by the Pittsburgh Penguins back in 2021.
