February is here, and the winter sports regular season is in its final weeks. Here's an updated look at where the teams at North Hills stand:

Girls' Basketball

The girls' basketball team went 0-2 last week to fall to 6-11 overall this season. The girls' 3-5 section record has them in a three-way tie for third place entering the final week of action.

Boys' Basketball

On the boys' side, last week brought only one game, which was a 60-48 loss to Fox Chapel. The loss drops the Indians to sixth place in Class 6A Section 1 with three section matchups remaining.

Wrestling

The varsity wrestling team took on Kiski Area last week in the first round of the WPIAL team playoffs and lost 38-21. They then returned for senior night and a thrilling 36-35 win over Butler.

Swimming & Diving

The varsity swimming and diving teams had only one meet last week, and it was on the road against Pine-Richland. The teams will return home for senior day this Tuesday.

Gymnastics

The varsity gymnastics team has wrapped up its regular season schedule. The WPIAL team and individual championships will be held on February 7 at Moon High School.

The indoor track and field team did not compete this week. The team is scheduled to compete in its third meet of the season on Saturday, February 7, at Youngstown State.
